January has certainly brought the cold, but more importantly, it has brought many learning opportunities for our younger grades. Kindergarten, first, and second grade have displayed their New Years resolutions in the hallways! In addition, kindergarten has been practicing adding with gum-ball machines in math and writing poems about winter with an interpretive drawing to accompany it ! Grade 3 celebrated Martin Luther King Jr. with research and a “what would you do?” assignment. Grade 4 is preparing for Presidents’s day with their impressive drawings done in art class and researching facts about “2 Great Men.” In technology class, second grade was thinking about warmer weather as they created a Google Slides assignment on their favorite place to visit!
